This policy explains what HisaabCore collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
Account details you provide (phone number, display name, optional profile photo and UPI ID), the financial records you create (expenses, ledgers, settlements, categories), and technical data such as device notification tokens.
To provide and sync the service, send reminders and notifications you enable, keep the app secure, and improve reliability.
Data is stored and processed using Google Firebase / Google Cloud infrastructure. Limited data may be handled by service providers (e.g. cloud hosting, crash and analytics tooling) solely to operate the app.
We do not sell your personal data. Group and ledger information is visible to the people you choose to add to those groups or ledgers.
HisaabCore may show ads to support the free service. On iOS and Android these are served by Google AdMob; on the web by Google Ad Manager. To show ads, Google may process device and advertising identifiers. Before any personalised ads are shown we ask for your consent (and, on iOS, App Tracking Transparency permission); if you decline, you still see non-personalised ads and every feature keeps working. We never share your financial records (expenses, ledgers, settlements) with advertisers.
You can edit your profile at any time and delete your account from Settings, which removes your personal data in line with our retention rules. Where applicable you can review or withdraw ad consent any time under Settings → Ads & privacy → Manage ad consent.
HisaabCore is not intended for use by anyone under 18.
